Advanced River-based Rescue

For 2025 no rescue specific schools will be offered. Our rescue courses will return in 2026.

This course is for individuals that have white water experience and/or have taken a beginning course in the past. One should know your knots and basic theory. Be familiar with everything taught in a basic course. Boating skills are helpful as we will be in and around the river for over half of the instruction.

Course Includes

The cost of this 4 day course is $500.00. This includes travel, instructors, instructions, literature, all boating, rescue equipment.

Certificate of Completion

A Certification of completion is provided and class size is limited. We will also assist those interested in finding work as river guides for the upcoming rafting season, either with High Country Expeditions or one of our many partner Outfitters in the Northwest.
