Britt Festivals is the Northwest's premiere outdoor summer performing arts festival. - Oregon Shakespeare Festival
With an enviable international reputation for quality productions, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF), is the nation’s oldest and largest repertory theatre company. In its 2002 season, which runs from March 1 through November 3, OSF will stage 795 performances of eleven plays in three unique theatres: the 1200-seat outdoor Elizabethan Stage, built in 1959 following the design of London’s Fortune Theatre of Shakespeare’s time; the contemporary indoor 600-seat Angus Bowmer Theatre, and the dazzling New Theater, which allows several different audience configurations (from 250-350) with all the intimacy and power of its predecessor, the Black Swan
