Here at High Country Expeditions we pride ourselves in only using and making available to you, our guests, the finest gear in the outfitting industry. Combining this with our exceptional guides, makes for the absolute best and safest outdoor experience available anywhere!
 Paddle Raft:
Our Paddle boats are top of the line self-bailing rafts. Our fleet consists of 12ft to 16ft custom manufacured rafts (Made in the USA.) High Country Expeditions will put 2 to 8 clients per boat, this depends on the river, the season and occasion. This form of rafting is where everyone is counted on to pull their part
in paddling, teamwork and guide, rafter coordination to achieve maximum
performance. This is also the preferred method of rafting on rivers
ranging from class 2,3 & some class 4 runs, offering maximum
participation and overall fun.
 Stern Frame Paddle Raft:
This configuration is great for family trips with lots of kids or
seniors also wanting to experience a wonderful whitewater adventure, on
class 2-3 raft trips.
Also a wonderful tool for guides on bigger rivers with long and
technical rapids.
The use of a pure paddle raft or a stern assist configuration boat is
always left up to the guide depending on the river, crew make-up,
weather… unless specifically requested.
Wherever your rafting adventure takes you, we hope that you at least

Expedition Frame Paddle Raft:
This configuration is used for overnight river trips as well as for our very relaxing scenic raft trips. You just relax, sit-back and let us guide you down the river.
Inflatable Kayaks aka IK's:
On our McKenzie, Rogue & lower Klamath rafting trips we offer IK's. IK's offer an exciting way to experience the river without having to know all of the details of a Hard shell Kayak. Perfect for anyone wanting to paddle down the river under their own power. All IK's come with Thigh straps, paddle, wet suit, booties and helmet. IK trips are with guides only, HCE does not rent out IK without supervision.
Hard Shell Kayaks
