- Opal Creek Ancient Forest Center
Opal Creek Ancient Forest Center, (a non-profit 501c 3 organization), was founded in 1989 to gain protection of the Opal Creek watershed for future generations to study and enjoy, a goal we achieved in 1996. Opal Creek Ancient Forest Center maintains and stewards Jawbone Flats, a rejuvenated historic mining town in the heart of the 35,000-acre ancient forest watershed of the Opal Creek Wilderness and Scenic Recreation Area. Located on the west slope of the Cascade Mountains, one hour east of Salem, Oregon and approximately two hours from Portland, Eugene and Bend.

- Belknap Hot Springs
Belknap Resort & Hot Springs, offers a 19 room Lodge and forteen cabins with accommodations ranging from $100.00 to $325.00 per night, 43 RV sites for 35.00 per night some with full hook-ups and 20 Tent sites.

Located in the beautiful Cascade Mountains, at the gateway to the Willamette National Forest and the Three Sisters Wilderness area, the Caddisfly Resort has always been owned by the Lauer family who developed it in the 1950's. Now it is the second and third generation operating it.
All of the cottages have been modernized and have beautiful views of the river. Trees and native plants abound. A beach by the river is an excellent place for a picnic, bonfire, fishing, or just sitting and watching the river go by.
