High Country Expeditions and its guides are permitted by the US Forest Service to operate on the Willamette and McKenzie Rivers in the Willamette National Forest. Owyhee River trips are permitted through the Vale District BLM. California Salmon and Scott Rivers are operated under permits issued by the Klamath National Forest. Upper Klamath River trips under special use permit from Klamath Falls Resource District of the BLM. Guides / Instructors are licensed and insured by the state of Oregon according to law.
